Parkview Field Taking Shape
October 14th, 2008 | Author: Chad Gramling
This week, the sod for grass at Parkview Field was put laid, with light towers and lights to go in soon. Video footage can be viewed at AroundFortWayneBlog. It’s about as exciting as watching grass . . . er, never mind, couldn’t resist Stephen
. Photos are also up at WhatsGoingDownTown.
Accoding to a WaneTV report, “officials will offer public tours once the stadium is closer to completion.”

Actually, you hit it right on the head! It was about as exciting as watching it grow! I have photos and much more to sort through, including views from the Lincoln Tower OD. I was there at about 2 pm and they were working on the outfield. I know they were going to have it finished. All that would be left is some cutting and fitting to get nice straight lines.
The ballpark is looking great! Can’t wait to get up to the Fort and watch a game with ya.
This is going to be great for Ft Wayne…wow…I played professional ball and this is a top notch facility. Could be the number 1 A-ball facility in the country.
