Family Fun Fest Making Another Stop at The Castle

The Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest, produced by Entertainment and Sports International, returns to the Memorial Stadium parking lot for a third consecutive season on Saturday, August 23rd from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Fans of all ages are invited to attend the free, family-style event featuring more than 20 baseball themed attractions, a Minor League Baseball Museum and an Xbox 360 Best Buy Home Run Derby video game trailer.
A midway of activities offers fans the chance to take swings in batting cages or strike out batters in pitching cages, bungee runs, slides and bounce houses. Days Inn will allow fans to have their picture taken and create their own baseball card and Sports Illustrated Kids Magazine will provide fans the opportunity to have their picture on a souvenir cover.
After the Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest, fans are encouraged to stick around for the Wizards game against the Lansing Lugnuts at 7:00 p.m. in the opener of a six-game AND FINAL homestand for the Fort Wayne Wizards at Memorial Stadium.
