This Week on Takin’ Sports

Tune in Saturday morning at 10:00 for Talkin’ Sports as we’ll be joined by Caleb Kimmel, owner of Between The Lines as he gives details on a trip to El Salvador later this month in order to provide baseball equipment and instruction to underprivileged youngsters. The trip is a result of donations and funds raised by Fort Wayne area organizations.

We’ll also be joined by Melissa Majikes, Senior Account Executive of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, telling us about a Sports and Entertainment Career Fair being held in Fort Wayne on Tuesday, with reps from the Mad Ants, Pacers, Pistons, Adidas etc. on hand.

We’ll be featuring our Talkin’ Sports Top 5 High School Athletes of the Week. If you know of a high school athlete who had an outstanding week, detail the accomplishments and nominate them at talkinsports@wnuy.com.
